FESCOM backup power supply

Why did we do it ourselves?
We received a specialized device, the best on the market in terms of cost, practicality, and functionality to solve the problem - to provide power to the FESCOM Energy Manager in emergency mode to transmit a message about a loss of mains power supply at the facility.
- input supply voltage: 12V ±10%;
- output supply voltage in bypass mode and backup power mode: 12V ±10%;
- operating time in backup power mode ranges from 10 seconds to 120 seconds;
- the IRP circuit contains a protection system against overvoltage, short circuit and input voltage of incorrect polarity;
- charging time from 0 to 92% voltage - 10 minutes;
- recharging time from 92% to 97% voltage - 10 minutes;
- recharging time from 97% to maximum voltage - 15 minutes;
- The maximum charge current during the first minute of charging is 400 mA. Then the charge current decreases to zero.
- IRP consumption current after full charge to supply voltage (after 35 minutes) – 5 mA ± 10%;
- input voltage IRP at which the circuit is switched on is 10V ± 5%;
- time for switching the IRP to backup power in the event of a loss of input power - 3...10 ms;
- IRP discharge time at current consumption by the FESCOM Energy Manager is 130…134 sec.;
